We are doing this fundraiser to bring awareness of the burden of stroke, provide community education and to promote healthy living among the community. Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the United States. We want to focus on the stroke survivors and their families and highlight the achievements they have made.
The proceeds raised will benefit the local stroke support group at CMC-Northeast. This support group was started in April 2014 and has grown to support many stroke survivors and their families. Please help us continue to support this cause,
RESULTS West Cabarrus YMCA
Join our 5K for a scenic run through Afton Village.
At the Y, strengthening communities is our cause. The Cannon Memorial YMCA has been serving families in Cabarrus County since our founding in 1908. Our Y helps children and teens discover who they are and what they can achieve. We also help adults learn more, do more and live healthier lives. Within the YMCA’s services lies the central goal of fulfilling its mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Our proceeds help pay for membership and programs for those who otherwise could not afford to participate.
